English Premier League side Arsenal have officially announced that youngster Miguel Azeez has signed his first professional contract with the club.
All Nigeria Soccer revealed a few months ago that the England youth international signing a new contract when he turned 17 on September 20.
The length of the new professional contract has not been disclosed but there is a probable reason to believe that the deal could be for three seasons.
A central midfielder by trade, he joined the Gunners at the age of five and rose through the youth ranks before making his competitive debut for the U18s during the 2017/18 season while still a schoolboy.
Azeez made his official debut with Arsenal U23 team at the age of sixteen and with this new contract, there is no doubt that he will be making his first-team appearance in no time.
The 17-year-od who is also eligible to present Spain internationally, was part of the Young Lions squad that was part of the 2019 Euro U17 and has also found himself promoted to the U18s this season.
