Panic as KPA Mombasa staff tests positive Covid-19 – Weekly Citizen

Panic has gripped Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) headquarters after one staff tested positive for Covid-19.

Already fear is 15 others were put on forced quarantine may turn positive as they interacted directly with the victim.The patient is currently  admitted at Mombasa hospital with a colleague with symptoms  being treated at Pandya Memorial .

A cleaner who had contact with the first case at the offices, has been isolated. Ministry of Health officials have pitched tent at KPA ordering 15 workers and their families  to go on self-quarantine. The employee who has tested positive was spotted in the office on March 20 coughing and complaining of chest complications.
